FAQ:
What is this going to be about?

The goal of this conference is to discuss the importance and prevalence of diversity in literature. We’re going to discuss the difficulties that authors of color face when it comes to trying to tell their stories, from the publishing industry to trying to find an audience. We will address the messages each author hopes to relay to readers, and talk about why it’s so important that these stories are being told.

Who is running this thing?

A small group of seniors from Granada High School who are determined to make the voices of people of color heard. We have spent the past 6 months advocating for more diversity in literature, starting with the English curriculum at our own high school. We have planned this conference from start to finish, and we will be the moderators.

How is this gonna work?

The conference will be held over Zoom. The moderators and authors will be panelists, and the audience will be attendees. The audience can interact with the panelists via a Q&A feature.

GIVEAWAY:
All who attend the conference will be automatically entered into a giveaway. There will be multiple winners.
